John Lithgow...Most Evil Man In History

I'm a college student and i do alot of work/homework from my home and I am so happy that RICOCHET is on cinemax like Every friggin' day...and i watch it every friggin day. And while doing this I have realized that John Lithgow, who i always knew as Dick The Loveable 3rd rock alien or the dad from Harry and The Hendersons, however after seeing him play Earl Talbot Blake...i realize he is the most evil man to ever walk the earth. Blake is the best villian ever and has some of the best bad guy one liners ever:

Gaurd: "Hey Blake, I hope you flossed."
Blake: "I Did, with your wife's pubic hair."

Jesse Ventura: "You're that guy who got busted on America's Funniest Home Videos"
Blake: *beep* ya self cream cake."

Blake: "I'll stop by your house."
Parol Board Chairmen: "To thank me I suppose."
Blake: "No, to *beep* your wife. And your daughter. Hell, maybe even your dog."

God Bless Lithgow!

Hee hee . . . you have a great point.

But I disagree with one thing: I've always felt that Lithgow was weird and scary, even when he was doing 3rd Rock.

Also, have you seen this new Verizon commercial? The dude who plays the husband in it looks exactly like a young, albeit balding, Lithgow. I bet it's his son.

If this guy is Leon from 3rd Rock he's John Lithgow's son, Ian Lithgow.

He was awesome in 3rd rock!

That's pretty much all I've seen of John Lithgow's performances, as you can guess.

John Lithgow is the best bad guy ever.

Ricochet would be a perfect double bill with Lithgow's villain in the sublimely twisted Raising Cain.

Also check out Lithgow getting down with the evil in Cliffhanger and Blow Out.

Scope Dexter this season...

Lithgow is the "Trinity" serial killer.

Very good stuff.

I agree. Lithgow totally kicked ass as the supremely wicked and vicious Blake.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

He was very scary in Blow Out and Raising Cain. My first impression of him was when he played the transsexual in The World According to Garp, so I thought he was pretty unusual, but then I saw the above two films and I found him seriously creepy.

He makes copies and doesn't put down the lid. Yes...he's INSANE.
