The Accent Ruined It...

I don't know who Milla is before or after watching this movie, but from the moment she talked it was obvious to me she was badly trying to cover an accent (possibly russian?) This obvious accent made it impossible for anything to be believeable because she was raised by her mother and would have had a similar dialect to both her and her husband. A russian accent? That just doesn't fit.

I really thought the movie seemed rushed compared to the first one, they didn't have the love that Em and Richard did, or at least it wasn't clearly established during the time we saw them "falling" in love.

Overall, this movie cannot be compared to the first movie for several reasons. I just found that the accent was the first and most noticeable error they made.

Though you just compared it to the first movie in your post, no?
