why hasnt anyone addressed that in the first movie they are found by the uncle, and in the second movie they are found by complete strangers?
that has always bugged me, never mind that i thought they were alive in the first movie and then they are dead in the second.

I think it's supposed to be the uncle and all of those people just different actors. And yeah I think they had to change the sleeping/dead part to be able to make the sequel.

no... i just watched it again today. they just happened on the dingy.. they werent specifically looking for them like the uncle was. so many plot holes!

If you look at the closing credits one of the characters is named Lestrange which is Richard and Emmeline last name so I don't know which of the characters is Lestrange to no matter how many times I watch it. I also don't know if the Lestrange mentioned is supposed to be same man as from the first story and if he is does he recognize Richard and Emmeline.
sharei think Lestrange is the old man you see sleeping in the chair.He is most likely suppose to be Richards father.If it's not him,then maybe there was a deleted scene featuring Lestrange
