What happened to Sylvia
The Wikipedia page of "Return to the Blue Lagoon" said that Sylvia was captured and arrested for sexual impropriety in the end. However, I never saw that part at the end of the film. Has anyone seen that?

I think it's someone's idea of a joke. I agree with the poster above who said they're being idiots -- it's an absolutely idiotic joke. And a plot description on Wikipedia is so completely not the appropriate place for a joke like that which isn't remotely identifiable as a joke by anyone who hasn't seen the movie -- who are exactly who's likely to be reading the plot summary in the first place.
She comes on to Richard, gets rejected, slaps him, yells at him for leaving her in the little boat, and I don't think we ever see her again. She's mentioned once more, when someone (I believe Richard) says she's leaving when the ship sets sail first thing tomorrow morning or something like that.
i just about peed my pants when i read this on wikipedia. lol.

There is nothing on Wikipedia about that...I think that you were reading something entirely different!

No, the OP is correct. The articles on wikipedia are edited often, and there is no longer anything about Sylvia being arrested on that wiki page for this movie, but there WAS awhile back, I remember reading it myself and thinking it had to be wrong because that never happened in the movie. Evidently, that wiki page was changed at some point, everything on that site is.
shareLOL! Thats why you have to take Wikipedia with a grain of salt--even when it "seems" correct at times its a bit off. Cant even remember how many times Ive read things on there that left me wondering how it was even allowed up in the first place or left on for more than a day or two.

I used to respect Wikipedia and it was my go to site for information but after I became a member and tried to edit a particular actor's page and found a group of other members on the talk pages trying to decide whether or not they should 'out' him even though they agreed that there was no proof I wondered how many other times they had made things up. Luckily, the "leader" said they could not do it and they didn't. (It was absolutely untrue and I know that personally). So this story does not surprise me. I only use Wikipedia for certain research and I always double check with other sources. They need a wrangler over there.Certain people are abusing their "power" and should be reined in.
