Could someone tell me are these scenes in the film?

So basically I saw a film a few years ago which included a blind man who was dissatisfied and unhappy with life. It was quite a dark film and disturbed me for some odd reason. I posted a thread on the "I Need To Know" message boards here and someone informed me that "Proof" could be the film I was looking for. At first, after watching the trailer I didn't think it was, now however I'm not so sure. I remember two scenes from the film (my memory of it is very blurry). In one scene the blind man is playing the piano, and in another he is receiving a massage from a woman which I remember being very sensual but I can't remember if it led to them having sex. Were these scenes in Proof? And if not does anyone know the film I'm talking about? This has been bugging me so much lately, thanks folks :L

Well, it's been quite a while since you posted but it doesn't sound like this movie to me.
The blind man in Proof doesn't play the panio if I remember correctly and there weren't
any massages.

There was one based on a true story starring Val Kilmer, called At First Sight. His character had been blind since early childhood, and somehow they found a way to restore his sight.

As difficult as life was being blind, the enormous adjustments to the sensory overload, learning how to trust his eyes over everything else he'd learned to adapt and other complications. I don't remember if the fix didn't last long, or if he wanted to go back to his old life, etc. but you can find it here on IMDb if you think it sounds right.
