Is it as disturbing as the book? *Spoilers*

My 14 year old cousin wants to watch this. i seem to remember some pretty disturbing stuff from the book . A graphic rape scene, dead babies in the freezer ect. Is the film this grapic?

What did they say?
They both laughed. Laughed—the Mountains rang with it!

Not only that, but the book gave Tom a chance to get even with him killing one and the tigger killing the other two. In the movie, he basically lets Luke do all the dirty work. I never got that part. Why couldn't they let Tom kill one and Luke the other two if they were worried about the tiger issue. Hmmmm

I found the scene when they were assaulted and raped extremely disturbing.

Whenever this movie is mentioned to me, my thoughts flash back to the awful ordeal they went through. The sight of the little girl's foot flexing in anguish as she endured that crap and what Tom went through for those few moments is a bit too graphic for any 14 year old to watch.

I don't know about the book, but this was disturbing enough.

Peace.
