I for a fact know that Shelley Michelle did a leg double for Barbra Streisand in this movie. Does anybody know what scene it was for?? Barbra has great legs, why would she need a double?? Give me your thoughts!!!

That's surprising because BS doesn't have a very good body. She's shaped like a block of wood (no waist), with skinny arms and legs. People like that usually have really good legs, but they look better in high-heels, because often people with that blocky torso shape are short. Barbra does tend to wear high heels, probably because her legs are her best feature. She or her wardrobe people always seem to try to hide her torso in loose or boxy things, which is a mistake. They should put her in clothes that fool the eye into think she has a waist, or that draw the eye up to her face. Though with her face, maybe not.
Has anyone else noticed this? You can tell at a distance if a (white) girl has a nice face or a plain/ugly face by what she wears with a mini skirt. If she has a bad face, she'll wear flesh-colored nylons to draw the attention to her legs. But if she has a pretty face, she'll wear black tights so her face gets more attention. I can be walking down a street and say to a friend, see that girl coming toward us a block away? I'll bet you she's got an ugly face or bad skin. My friends don't know how I always guess. It's because they wear the light colored stockings below a miniskirt, so people will notice their legs first, before they get the shock of the face.
How insensitive can you get? Eesh.

Everybody uses a body double or a parts double. Julia Roberts did in Pretty Woman and into her 40's Julia had a pretty good body, look at her in My Best friends Wedding. And everybody has parts to their body they don't like.
As far as her face..she's an actress w a "trophy" husband. And quite the catch too..The guy was a notorious hound on his previous wife..who was considered by many men as the natural Venus of the 70's, Jan Smithers. must be true what they say..ugly girls do the things others won't...cause I'm sure the popa's would love to catch BS's hubby out on a romp. So far not a peep.
If she did use a double...it was purely her lack of confidence. I don't know if it's still true--as she's late 60s now...but she has always had beautiful legs. Very skinny, but she pulled them off nicely. I got the same legs, but unfortunately, years of hard work have given me quite the vericose vein!
