The Way We Shouldn't Be?

This movie is about Babs in control of a yet another conflicted blond man.

Nick's adulation of both her Jewish body and her Jewish self seems so contrived.

When she played opposite Bob Redford, their relationship was put in proper perspective - with her pleading with Bob to accept her.

Here in POT, it just seems all WRONG. He's a horribly distraught guy - and she - though married - is out having all kinds of sex with Nolte - who comes off as White Trash any way you look at it.

"Blond" is not always "attractive" Babs.

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"
