Any Chance Of A Sequal?

Because given the quality of the first film, it can only get better.

I hope so!!!

A sequel would be awesome. The film is even set up for one - The Reeve has lost everything, and he and Eldona (Chris's legal wife) can make the trip from Valkenvania to NYC and do their antics up there.

It is also set up for a prequel. How the Judge left for WW1, how his grandfather got screwed by the banker and invested in the United Coke Company, and how they refuse to leave their home/land despite the mine fire growing underneath it. Not to mention, how the Judge has the state troopers and attorney general on his side, and everyone knows what he does but says nothing or turn a blind eye to.

He was having a nightmare still. At least I always thought so. Because when you looknow at the judges nose it's a penis. (Just like at the dinner table scene). I always thought the whole ending was in a dream sequence. But I don't know for sure.

I don't think a remake or a sequel will ever happen, as not only was this film a box office flop but it also received overwhelmingly negative reviews. I personly liked Nothing But Trouble, but a lot of people didn't and don't.

The film was a big bomb, okay? When you have that, the studio loses money on it, so no way are they going to do a sequel. You need to have your head examined, bub.

honestly i actually thought this topic was ironical, no way is this getting a sequel, the movie is completely bashed, i don't think aykroyd has directed a movie since, john candy has passed on, and i can't remember the last time i saw chevy chase star in a movie, i rewatched this recently and it had been so long since i'd seen it there are jokes i didn't get the first time, as a child this was my favorite movie, for real, this can be very dark considering the judgment and what follows, as a kid i didn't think so, what an opening with ray charles recording a new tune just for this movie i guess, i regularly listen to this movie's soundtrack, very diverse, even includes a tune by elwood blues, chilly entrance by the leading lady, and chevy chase plays an off putting snob, so much don't make sense, like when he decides to race the police car which sets the story for the entire movie, i was just thinking what a common simple title, then i think i read another was considered, the name of the place where most all of this plays out, i figure they should've went with that instead. i read this has a twilight zone vibe, and the house looks like that from "psycho" (1960). i think half of this cast is canadian. as you watch this you realise there's no way movie critics could praise this and this board is full of negative comments, it's like they didn't even aim to make a good movie but just goof around, i don't know what to make of it but i stay totally hooked on it, i actually like it somehow.

looked forward for a good time,
but you came dressed like a guy,
still you make me weak in my knees,
i guess youre doing fine even without your boobies,
powerful eye,
can reduce me to ash on ground,
as laser strike,
you hypnotise,
as your huge headlights knocked me down.
