In interviews, Chevy Chase has said plenty of times that the worst movie he ever did was Oh Heavenly Dog. He must be forgetting he was in this piece of crap. Nothing But Trouble is what happens when a movie inspired by a night of heavy drinking becomes real. There is no way that anyone but those who wrote the movie thought any of the jokes were remotely funny.

shareThe jokes don't matter - you have to love the boobyraps, contraptions, set design, the whole gothic playfulness. If you don't allow yourself a cartoonish theatrical mind, you will never give the film its proper due.
shareChevey in "Vegas vacation" was pretty bad too. He was nowhere near as good or as funny as he was in the other "National lampoon vacation" movies.
shareWhile it wasn't his best movie he's ever done but I didn't think it was one of the worst, I grew up on this movie and have lots of fond memories watching it.
