Scene with Benigni. Funniest ever!!!

I'm too lazy to read thru all the posts here, i'm sure i would find one that's just like this one.. i think the scene with benigni and the priest is the funniest i've seen in any movie ever (and i've seen quite alot, movies that is), the briliance of it isn't just in the performance by benigni but it's the situation all together. Can anyone think of a scene more funny than this...

I thought the way Benigni talked that poor old priest to death (or at least it seemed like he talked him to death) was pretty funny, considering that he also damn near talked ME to death just listening to him rattle on, and on, and on, and on, and on...

Be that as it may, I think one of the funniest lines of the movie was from the Rome segment: "If there's no room at the Hotel Genius, I'll take a room at the Hotel Imbecile." I just couldn't stop grinning when he said that. lol

The whole New York scene was funnier. The Public Enemy scene in Ghost Dog was funnier too. (IMHO)

I just about had to stop watching the movie during this scene, that guy had one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard and just kept going on and on and on about some of the stupidest crap ever put on film, it was literally like the Italian version of somebody from Alabama - screwing sheep and pumpkins, wow.

This type of stuff might've been funny to me in the 3rd grade

I loved this segment as well!
The lines were ridiculously hilarious and it was the most animated part of the movie. Benigni executed the character perfectly and the situation added to the 'on-the-spot' humor.
Loved it!

I, for one, can't think of anything funnier than this this...... It was absolutely hilarious........ The looks on the bishop's face as benigni delivers each of his punchlines are unforgettable....... man!!!! I can't stop laughing

Rome is the most enjoyable segment, and it's all the more impressive if, as we're told, a lot of the dialogue was improvised by Begnini. (Paris and Helsinki okay, LA sabotaged by Ryder, NY Mueller-Stahl excellent but Perez just too much.)

Funny? More like relentlessly annoying.

It's so annoying that it's hilarious! This is a very difficult style of humor, as it's constantly at the edge of ridicule and not for everyone, as it seems.

We can't be lost; we don't know where we're going.
All that matters is that we're going.
