One thing that has never made sense to me

Hector Savage comes into Jane's flat, enters her bathroom (where she's taking a shower), puts a silencer on his gun, and accidentally starts singing, causing Jane to call to Frank, who fights Hector and ultimately causes him to bust. After that, Jane says, "Why would anyone want to kill you, Frank?". It seems to me that it would be assumed that Hector wanted to kill Jane instead of Frank. I mean, Frank was just making the phone call and was an easy target, while Jane was out of the way, so why go out of the way if not to kill Jane?

It's never made sense.

Yeah i've never understood that either =S

I think it was put in just so Frank could have a funny line about the cable company...

Well, the third-hand thing is obviously a joke. But the point I brought up seems to me to be plot-related and not intended to be directly funny.

But I'll just take your word on it: it was a joke and I just didn't understand it. Thanks.
