Yes, this film is underrated. Willis pushes this film up to a firm 7 from me.

I agree! I loved this movie. Saw it several years ago and just got the dvd...this is one that commands repeat viewings!

we must have seen totally different movies because the the movie i just watched was a total waste of time. (i even skipped at least an hour out of the middle!)i cant believe there arent more people here talking about how bad this POS is!!

It is. Definitely Headley makes this movie. Moore. 's acting is weak relatively especially, and it's not told well leading to it being slow and sort of collapsing at the end. Its weaknesses are evident but Joyce is so great and both their families are great supporting, I watch if it's on every time.

Yes, very VERY underrated film! From day one i never understood y it didnt do better than it did. I think it had to do with people not bein down with willis playin such a low-life. But i think he did a fantastic job in the role. I didnt think it was over the top at all cuz back then i new alot of guys that acted just like james. I think every1s performance was spot on. The only thing i didnt really get tho was cynthia's attraction 2 her husband. I jus dont see what on earth she saw in that guy lol! April151CT
