Incredible coincidence...

I have literally just finished watching LA Story 5 minutes ago on DVD so I decided to look it up on IMDB, which I always do after watching something. I open up IMDB to the home page, and the day's Movie quote was a line from Victoria Tennant from LA Story- "I keep thinking I'm a grown up, but I'm not." Well, I think it's amazing anyway.

You are what's known as part of the film cosmos. Does this happen to you often? Happens to me a lot. There is no such thing as coincidence. Once I was leaving a theater in Hollywood after seeing 'Driving Miss Daisy'. While j-walking across the street, a silver Mercedes stopped. Dan Aykroyd was the driver. He even waved. Another time, I was watching 'Deliverance' on TV and that night my girlfriend and I went out for dinner and Burt Reynolds sat two tables away. There are more, but I won't bore you.
All thing happen for reasons we don't know. Coinsidence does not exist.

Mine occured years ago. I was watching Polanski's Repulsion. I found Deneuve's tics very unsettling, they reminded me of my girl friend. When I got home, my gf's mother called. She'd a delusionary episode and was taken to the psychiatric wing of the local hospital.

That's not amazing newlifemedia. And you're not amazing.

Heh, I'm just kidding NLM, you're all right. (This joke structure stolen from Flexo, Bender's Non-Evil Twin, of Futurama.)

My oddly coincidental moment came when I was driving home late one night. I stopped for gas. For no reason, I thought of an old girlfriend I hadn't thought of in months. (This was about a year after she had ripped out my heart, used it like a Kleenex, stomped on it, picked it up and stabbed it, chopped it into tiny little pieces, put it on a pan and put it in the oven and cooked the *beep* out of it, then put it on a plate and served it to me and wanted me to say, "Mmmmm. That tastes great." We parted amicably.)

I got home right as my room mate was getting up to go to work. I asked him if there were any calls and he said no. Then when he was leaving for work I asked again and he said, "Oh yeah, some girl called at like 11 last night, but she didn't leave a name." I checked call return and it was her.
