That's awesome. I never get that part though. It's funny but I don't get why Sarah's mother has such a weird voice.
shareI always took it as a "cameo" of sorts. Terry Jones is known for playing a lot of women's parts in Monty Python skits/films, so it's very funny to have his "woman's" voice come out of the phone! He often plays unattractive, older female types (nagging wife/mother), so he fits the character of the, shall we say, "unconventional" mother alluded to by the Ex. Plus, he's English, as is Sarah, so it fits :)
