Paul Thomas Anderson needs to remake LA Story
Seriously...
Think about it.
Watch his OG films...
then watch LA Story again...
It makes perfect sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somebody tell me I'm wrong!
Ya, that's what I thought!

Wrong.
It's a good movie. Leave it be.
PT Anderson is a monumentally ego-ridden hack. I want the three hours i wasted watching "Magnolia" back with interest.

Did you know that saying this made you a monumentally ego-ridden idiot. I want the 2 minutes i spent reading your useless opinion with interest.
You needed 2 minutes for reading one line? :-)

I see what you're talking about, but it would be a waste time. The only reason a movie should be remade is to make it better than before. The only reason a movie is remade is because they think it will make as much money as before. I don't see either of these scenerios happening. Hell, LA Story made more than any of Anderson's movies, and that was in 1991 dollars. I don't see this happening.
Besides, if anything, you're just noticing that Anderson has been influenced by this movie. I do think if it had to be remade, he'd be the one to do it. But I don't think it should be remade and I'd prefer that he spent his time making his own movies.
No he doesn't
This movie is fine the way it is. Having said that in 20 years they'll probably remake this.
What would happen if a sequel to this movie was made?
shareNo.
No one should remake any movie.
Ever.
