shareMost movies I have seen are better than Citizen Kane but that's beside the point. I thought this was a pretty funny movie.
shareI love people who feel the need to hate something simply because most people enjoy it.
If the vast majority of people who bash Citizen Kane had never heard of it, if there wasn't any hype around it, and then they watched the movie... they'd very likely think it was a brilliant movie.
Even worse are the people who bash it without having actually seen it.
King Ralph is a funny movie though.
Almost anything is better than Citizen Kane. The only part of it I took notice of was what Rosebud was. Kind of sad that was the last thing that gave him happiness and he was only 7 years old. However it was like comparing apples and oranges. One was drama and one was comedy.The drama was boring to the max and the comedy was totally crazy yet insightful also.

You sound like someone who could not understand the movie and said it was great just to cover up your lack of understanding it yourself. I gave it two tries and gave up on it. You are also bitter because you bought into the hype for such a movie and refuse to believe that not everyone is going to be a good little zombie and fall into line with your opinion which incidentally everyone has and most, like armpits, stink. Yours more so because you resort to denigrating everyone's opinions by calling them names. A diplomat you are not because you cannot see how anyone else can go against your "august" opinion and dare to voice their own. That is not a discussion. That is a dictatorship on your part. Now go away and take your spoiled little child's attitude with you and learn how to discuss rather than demand.
