Of course it has already been learned since then that one of the things that Shaw lied about in the case was his involvement with the CIA at that time.
The judge said no such thing. Clay Shaw was a gay man living in the Deep South.

To me, I remember that day as a kid it changed the whole
way I say this country, and especially since they allowed
Oswald to get murdered right in the police station, and then
in all these years they've never solved it. Now they are going
to release these papers that they have had over 50 years to
doctor or disappear ... what are we expecting?
Assassination aside, there was a cover-up though. I can see now why hardly anyone trusts the government anymore or call out fake news or all these conspiracy theories. They did it to themselves and I don't blame the American people for having less trust in it, even to the point of siding with Russia.

Russia is much worse than the US ... used only as a model
for the ruling oligarchy in the US who seem to be jealous of
all the evildoing that the leaders in the third world get to do
that they cannot.
The US is the country that now holds back political progress
for the whole world. I never dreamt things would get so bad
as they are these day. When I was a kid there was still the
suspension of disbelief that we had a classless society and
people had social mobility, things were getting better and we
would all be middle class and move towards democracy.
Now we have a government that moves in the dark to
push history backwards, and used the media to make us all
think that this is somehow supported by a massive number
of very vocal, very violent people.
I don' think this is America.
