OH MY GOD THEY COMPLETELY KILLED IT!

i just about managed to refrain from gouging my own eyes out with a blunt spoon while sitting through this. it's like someone heard someone say something about a pretty cool film called highlander and then made a sequal as a piss-take.

horrific. cheap. utter crap.

cheesy, badly written, badly shot and horribly edited by a blind man with no hands. and the special effects were a joke of some sort i'm sure.

let me just repeat myself - this 'film' is horrific. cheap. utter crap.

in fact this film is up there with the worst 'take advantage of a films fan-base' crimes of all time, perhaps even topping the 'bevely hills cop franchise con' and the cruel crime against cinema that was the 'starship trooper' sequals.

. . . old highlander walks into a bar, plays the jukebox and 'it's a kind of magic' pumps out . . . like he was aware of the original film's soundtrack? huh?

i guess the Russel.M just wasn't surrounded by the same production and post team, let alone the same director of photography as on the first film, and it shows, in fact this exposes him as being a pretty useless director, obviously lacking the team who made his name look good on the original film.
