The Renegade cut
I just saw the renegade cut on bluray. Aside from the fact that there's no Zeist, the sky is blue, there's CGI and non-high definition video in some scenes, it seems that they dropped the whole "the shield caused human regress" plot.
Am I right? I remember in the theatrical Mcleod saying the shield caused humanity to devolve or something like that, hence the old looking cars.
