Still the only movie I ever walked out of

I have seen plenty of bad films that I wanted to bolt from the theater, but will usually stick it out. I was living in St Louis at the time and had been anticipating the sequel to Highlander. I had just started dating this girl and she agreed to go with me. We got there a bit early, and the theater was empty, which should have been the first indication. The film starts and I am pumped.

But soon a subtitle flashed on the screen "On the planet.......". That was it. I told her "I am getting our money back", and we went to see the manager. When we explained why we wanted a refund, the manager complied and then said, "I would have done the same thing. This film stinks out loud."

We laughed and went to get a bite to eat and laugh about this. I read all the inside stories about how much the cast and director hated this script, and did it for money or were locked in contract. I just thought it was a crime to make them aliens.
