According to the Futurians, those Dorats are popular pets in their time. It would be kind of funny if those things existed in real life.

Tough guy: Ya, check out my pit bulls!!

Kid: Oh ya? Check out my Dorats!! Add a bit of nuclear radiation and...BOOM!! Watch them merge and grow!!
