The AVGN said no films between Biolante and 2000 had an American release

Not until the advent of DVD during the 2000s, and basically says there was no US Godzilla action in the 90s till the Come With Me film.

But I remember distinctly watching an English Dub of this film on VHS during the 90s when I was a Kid at certain times watching Godzilla films like crazy. I'm not confusing it with a different Ghidorah film, it had MechaGhidorah, the Godzilla Dinosaur time travel stuff, the old Vet who gets burned, all of it. And I remember the cute little Ghidorah cuddly things as well.

I also remember owning Action Figures of both Mecha Ghidorah and SpaceGodzilla

I was confused though cause I new nothing abut the Reboot, even though I had seen Godzilla 1985, that aspect of it had completely slipped my mind. So I was quite flabbergasted on how this both covers Ghidorah's origin and turns him into the good guy.

Bootlegs of the 90s Godzillas were common, and Toho allowed laser discs of those films to be sold here through Tower Records.

I actually saw this film around 1995 but it was through a copy that a friend's dad had bought while on vacation in Japan and there weren't even English subtitles.

But yes, because of the dismal returns on the first two Heisei era films and possibly due to the WWII controversy in this one, US distributors balked at releasing any of the others in the States. It wasn't until Tri-Star put out the US version in 1998 that plans changed. The video releases of King Ghidorah and Mothra were both released ahead of the theatrical publicity for the film and then, if I recall correctly, Spacegodzilla and Destorayah came out around the time of the 1998 movie's video release.

I know for certain I'd seen an English Dub. Did the 98 release have a Dub?

He's talking about official TOHO approved releases from an American company, folks.

Besides, if the agreement between TOHO and Tri-Star Pictures concerning the 1998 Godzilla did not include a clause that stated that Tri-Star would become the official U.S. distributor of TOHO Godzilla films that started with Godzila vs. King Ghidorah, who knows how much longer we all would have waited to see TOHO Godzilla films released on in the U.S.
