The very first time I saw this movie Evelyn went too church with Ninny.... It was a beautiful "gospel song" was sung know every time a watch this move it's been cut.

The song is "Didn't it Rain", by Marion Williams. Look it up, it's on YouTube in a few versions. Really good.

Did you watch it on tv the first time? That's an extra scene only available in the extended version. I've seen the movie about 20 times, and only just now saw that scene and a few other in the extended Blu-Ray.
