this was the first movie i'd ever seen thandie newton in. i remember renting a bunch of movies, the summer before my first year of college, that tv guide had suggested as good picks. i'd already seen "the year my voice broke" so it had caught my interest. when i saw the interracial aspect of it, i knew it was a must see. so glad i did. i've been a fan of thandie's ever since. now i'm patiently awaiting the release of "the truth about charlie".

I love this film because I identify with the main character Danny & the Thandiwe character reminds me a great deal of the first woman that I ever fell in love with. Too bad we can't have a sequel.

Yes, Thandie is a good actress, My mum is close friends with her parents and took pride in reminding whilst we were watching Flirted that she had bathed Thandie as a child!

That's funny, because I have a huge crush on Noah Taylor. I know he's not a classic handsome man, but there's something about him and his eyes - the way they just stare - I'm mad about him.

I also rented this for Noah -- I'm working on seeing all his movies, The Year My Voice Broke was good along with this if you haven't seen it. He was VERY cute when he was young as well. I went to see Life Aquatic when it opened on Christmas (yesterday). I'm totally in love with him, ever since I saw Vanilla Sky. Can't wait for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to come out. I envision him in so many roles. He's extremely brilliant, has neverending talent, and some how the hottest guy ever without being conventional... but i could fill up this site about him so I better stop. :P
