the first 20 minutes were really good
If the whole movie was about Jeff Bridges character it would be a masterpiece.
shareI liked the whole thing and consider it one of Gilliam's best films, not to mention one of Williams' best performances. I thought the movie was about Jeff Bridges' character? Yes, Robin Williams bombastically steals scenes, but it's about Bridges' arc.
Oh, plus I really loved the girlfriend. The actress took what could have been a stereotypical stock character and breathed a whole life into the part.
