For me this is the kind of movie that changes every time I see it. I mean every 3 or 4 years I review it and I discover some new little thing or view it from a different angle because I change and get older and find new values in the story. This is a movie I will NEVER get tired of. It’s a true classic for me. I guess it's my guilty pleasure.

I completely agree with you!! I absolutely love this film I think it's fantastic. I recently bought the DVD and I watch it all the time!! I talk a long with it frequently and laugh at the jokes made each time. They never get old!! Long live Father of the Bride, 1 and 2.

Yes! I watched this movie first in 1995 when the second one came out (when I was about 10!!) and I've been watching them for the last 10 years everyonce in awhile. They are great movies.
shareI completely agree, i don't actually own a copy of the movie but whenever it is on tv, which is usually once or twice a year, i have to sit and watch it. It never grows old, merely better with age.

I love it also but I prefer the sequel as Nina and Annie are less annoying in the sequel and Frawnk gets more screentime :) (he's my fave character)

I just watched this movie and now I want to watch it again. I think this movie is the type of movie that you can watch many times and never be bored. This movie is so many things. I found it sweet. I found it very funny. I found it poignant if that's a word in human language. I found it silly. I found it serious. I am glad I found this movie. I will watch it again and according to you I will find some new things to enjoy about it. You rock. and martin short was ridiculously funny.
