That is just insane! Seriously who are all of these people?!?!? Family? Clients? Even with a plus one, nobody knows that many people!!!!!! And it is not the brides family's responsibilty to pay for out of state/country guests. Such BS!

It's ludicrous. We had less than 200 people at our wedding, and at least 50 of them were obligatory invites that we couldn't have cared less if they showed.
shareI agree. That's like the whole population of a small town. It's like a whole town is coming to the wedding! I've been to a lot of weddings in my life but I don't think there were that many people in any of them. Much less at the reception. And 572 people with all of them eating is over $100,000! Of course it's a comedy so things are exaggerated.

I think you have to take that number with a pinch of salt. The yard was actually quite small. Even if you consider 10 to a table here's no way they could have fit a 57 table marquee in there.
