Gross!!!!

Putting mayonnaise in your hair? Eeek.....

reply

It is really hard to get out. You have to really careful about how much you use - but it works wonders on damaged (over-processed) hair.

It really did seem as if Hilary was using just a bit too much.

Actually, mayonnaise is phenomenal. A few years ago, my kids came home with a bad case of head lice. Yup, they passed it along to me and I had long, thick hair. Lice treatments would not work and just TRY to pass one of those nit combs through hair like mine. Ouch! The ONLY thing that worked was saturating our hair with mayonnaise, covering with a plastic bag and leaving it on overnight. Of course, I had to throw all linens, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. in the dryer.....Anyway, in the morning, you wash thoroughly, twice. You do not need to nit-pick. We repeated the same process a week later to be sure and then they were all gone. Haven't had them back. Trust me, it really really works.

YEAH, MAYONNAISE IS GREAT 4 UR HAIR, I DO IT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

Jared Padalecki's mine and nobody else's, even if he's engaged 2 that slut

Mayo and egg together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

reply

In the days before "creme rinse" women used an egg in their hair to detangle it. It does work.

haha I read your post to quick an I thought it said "Of course, I had to throw all linens, pillows, ANIMALS, etc. in the dryer..." I was about to call PETA on you.

"New York, you know you make my heart skip
In my dreams I make it into Vegas"

reply

Yeah. I had to use it in 7th grade when I got head lice. I guess it worked, but I cried the entire time it was in my hair. I hate mayonnaise.

My aunt use to wash her hair with beer.

reply

I've washed mine with beer before but never mayo, that just seems too greasy to me. Beer was great though, my hair was so soft and shiny!

reply

I had a friend who had a mayonnaise fetish. He and his girlfriend used to spread it on more than just their hair!

reply

I'm cosigning everyone else's comments. It really does work. It's not as awful as it sounds. It's great for overprocessed hair. You just cannot use it every week. Maybe once a month.

It's nobody's business but ours.

reply

That really grossed me out.
