Why was Fred called "Drop Dead" Fred? I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid so I forgot.

im not sure, I always took it that he was called fred, and she used to say drop dead etc lol
shareThey ask Elizabeth when she's younger why she calls him Drop Dead Fred and she says "because that's his name". There were other imaginary friends in the movie named funny things like Velcro Head and Namby Pamby...They probably just all have fun silly names because they're friends with kids :)
