Van Damme says the experience of making JCVD has inspired him to take more risks, artistically, but he is not yet ready to say farewell to the genre that made his name. "I am planning on making sequels to Bloodsport and Double Impact," he says, "but the action films I will make in the future will be more believable and character-based. I am now on my second cycle of fame, and I want to make films that smell real and are truthful."

Double Impact II would make sense, but how are they going to pull off a sequel to Bloodsport?

He should not have turned down the role in Stallones "the expendables". It may have been easier for him to make double impact 2 and blood sport 2 and have a wide release in theaters.
