great movie, annoying end. It felt like more could have happend, though the silence makes it more emotional.
lol, what was with the kissing with the musical things? They both looked sooo funny... they had no idea what they were doin! :P

i know! i felt the exact same way, they could've at least said somethin to eachother(besides 'hey') or KISSED!!
and yea, when i saw them kiss i laughed(on the inside), but yea i guess its sposed to show how awkward they felt cuz they really liked eachother n stuff(and plus, i bet Lili Taylor/Rose had never kissed anyone in her life lol)
It was supposed to look awkward, and they definitely succeeded lol.

shareI thought this movie was really well done, and it really showed how inner beauty can outshine physical beauty any day of the week. It showed how a shallow marine could be turned in to a respectful young man just by the encouragment of a shy good girl. I really liked it, and I thought River's performance was amazing, along with Lili Taylors.
shareI totally agree! They both did a fantastic job and its such a good under-rated film! Can watch it over and over. I liked the ending although yeah they could have thrown in a little kiss hehe.
