in the bedroom scene while rose was getting changed he pulled something out of his pocket and put it under Roses teddy, what was it?

I was wondering that as well. Why did he put a condom in her teddy bear?!
shareI guess it was pretty much so that he could take it out when the time came, instead of having to go to his wallet or having it on the bedside table

I'm pretty sure he put in the teddy so he wouldn't need to ruin the mood.
I think he wanted to do it descretely.
I've just watched Dogfight which is a great movie and this is my thought on why he put the condom in Rose's Teddy. What she was about to expierence with Eddie was a life changing event that would make her a woman. Her Teddy bear was a symbol of her pureness the little girl she once was the condom the woman she was going to be. To me it was symbolization. I maybe way off line all the other explanations are great too. That was my interuptation.
