Why does eddie rip up rose's address?

He had to. You kno wwhen guys are a**es when they are with their friends but nice when you get them alone, well its the same. He could never have told his friends that he spent the evening with a dogfight girl. They wouldnt treat him the same. If he had her address and sent her letters they would find out. Guys are complicated but basically they dont want their friends to think that they are soft...even if they are.
James Wright: How many Beatles are there?
Kyle Davidson: Three... and Ringo
It's so sweet to stumble upon discuccions like this sometimes.. I'l probably never visit back here, but I would like to say you folks made me reflect about my way of handling this; I never throw away things like that, at least not right away and that creates huge problems in my life.
So eternalpoint has a good point in explaining how you should only keep what you can use.
Unfortunately PhoenixfanForever has also hit a soft spot right on: I remember myself a girl I didn't want to have contact with all too much only because all the others in class (mind you, we were in college!) said that she was uncool; but in reality every time we exchanged a few words it felt like we knew each other a long time and I actually was fantasizing about her often... I hate PhoenixFans expression "when guys are a... when with friends" but it's actually true, even for softies like me.
Does today's generic "metrosexual" behave the same or are there differences compared to fifteen years ago?

Eddie ripped her address up just after the discussion with his buddy about *beep* and how he wouldn't tell the other two B's that Eddie had spent the night with Rose.
So I guess that to stop his mates from finding out about Rose Eddie had to get rid of any evidence about her.
They had a great connection because I think that the end is about 3 years after he had last seen her. 1963-1966.
I love this movie.
