The bar scene near the end of this movie...


was shot at the tavern I worked at in Seattle. I had to sit in while the team set up the place for the scene. Two nights to get the site right and a night after to put the place back as it was before. I ended spending my 30th birthday there on the second night when the crew ran late with their setup.
River was a very polite and respectful young man. After the shoot he came in and thanked us for our time and effort. We let him in even though he wasn't of age at the time. He invited me to the after party when he found out I missed my birthday party. I didn't go because I knew I wouldn't fit in but I appreciated the gesture.
