i just finished watching this movie its soo cute! :p
couple things though,
I cringed so many times lol all of the kissing scenes were soo awkward XD it seemed as though both of them had really chapped lips or something but im just guessing its roses first kiss..es so thats probably why
while birdlegs is sweet at times he just seemed like a armyboy looking for a one night stand before he went.. even teraring up her adress like nothing
and then since hes lonely coz his friends SPOILER died and he lost and people didnt like him he went back to her
Also... i was a bit suprised at how easy rose put out ! but i understand hes hoott and she probably wouldnt get the same chance ..ever so yeah lol

I know what you mean. Those scenes were definetly akward, but that's how it was supposed to be. I think it was trying to show that it was Rose's first time.
The part where Rose wants to play musical bingo and Eddie just wants to get straight down to it made me laugh lol.
Fantastic acting as always by both River & Lili Taylor.

I was almost covering my eyes when they were making out, it was that awkward. But that's honestly one of the things I like most about this film, it's genuine. It doesn't have some grand, overdone scene with a full orchestra playing in the background, it's completely true. I think this might be one of my favourite romantic movies.

oh god, this is so late, but wtv

the scene where they kiss for the first time got awkward because the director asked them to behave as if they were one of the dolls in the music cases - so, that's what came out of it, lol.

I think the other kissing scenes aren't so bad - the ones in her bed are fine, just not full open-mouthed ones.
