I never heard of this movie, just saw it on Universal HD.. but I'm now a fan of Albert Brooks. He takes on a monumentally sensitive issue & much to my surprise, he doesn't fail. Congratulations Albert, you move on. :P

sharechecked it out over thanksgiving per your suggestion, and wasn't disappointed. generally not my type of film.. romantic / relationship stuff.. but Albert certainly knows how to write a movie with brains and wit doesn't he? thanks again!

There was even slapstick in it--the mis-judgements scene: falling of the roof, the snowmobile, etc.
Good old fashioned comedy.
