Seeing Daniel's past life, it's not hard to see why he keeps being sent back to earth. However, if Julia was someone as heroic as Prince Valiant, it seems she would have moved on quite some time ago.

Yeah, I've wondered about that. It could have been easily resolved though by a minor script addition, perhaps her having an extreme case of vanity in her previous lives that Julia finally managed to beat.

Yeah, that was kind of a goof. If she had been a Prince Valiant type, then he/she undoubtedly would've moved forward (tho I admit I don't know much about him except through comic strips). Anyone as brave and valiant as that would be a shoo-in.
