Sound track?

Is there a sound track to the film? If not, does anyone know the music and Meishan's opera? I loved this film since I first saw it on HBO in the mid 90s.

Thanks!

I haven't seen this film in years (unfortunately, 'cos I really enjoyed it, and every other Yimou Zhang film I've seen) but I remember being really struck by the music. I look forward to hearing it again.

Since when does "love" authorize stealing?

if it isnt even available in the US for sale, how is that stealing? its not like there is the option to buy it and instead it is downloaded.

There's no CD in print, but there is a legal way to download the soundtrack (for a fee). Download it legally for a fee versus download it illegally for free. If the second option is not stealing then it's pretty close.

its not exactly readily available. if i cant find it easily, im sure the company that made it arent going to feel the loss.

what wrong with downloading a free copy of something that is really hard to find to be bought? its not like i download it and then sell it for money. that would be stealing because youre making money off something that isnt yours

It's available for download from Amazon. That's "readily available" as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care to get into a semantic argument as to whether copyright infringement constitutes stealing, but downloading it illegally when it is available for legal download does involve getting something of value without compensating the owner of the copyright in the work.

"if it isnt even available in the US for sale, how is that stealing?"

Are you in fact stupid, or do you pretend to be when you want to pretend to not understand the obvious:

When you take someone else's property without their permission and against their express demand that you not do so, it is called in both regular life and law STEALING.

And we both know that YOU KNOW THAT.

But if you want to continue to lie that you don't know, then I'll put it this way:

You know exactly what STEALING is and means: and that you would NEVER hesitate to call it what it is -- STEALING -- if the property being stolen were YOURS.

"its not like there is the option to buy it".

Except that there IS the option to buy it -- and you damned well know there is:

Another points out that it's available from Amazon.

Otherwise, eBay is worldwide, and has sellers worldwide. It can easily be bought via eBay.

It isn't bad enough that you're a thief; you compound your immorality and hypocrisy by LYING. Keep these obvious facts in mind, LIAR:

If someone stole YOUR property, you'd KNOW it is STEALING, AND you'd call it STEALING, and you'd scream to high heaven against that STEALING.

Whoa there guy, you've got to cut back on the caffeine. I don't disagree with your position, but you're sounding like a crazy person.

in replying to the fact if someone was stealing from me. if i recorded a song and someone snuck in my house and made a copy of my music and took it home to listen to. i havent lost anything and id never know someone did that. cause essentially thats what youre doing. making a copy. if someone steals your car, then youve lost your car. downloading music is making a copy
