What is poured into the water and stirred, before the massage, and what are those things being tapped against Songlian's feet?

The stuff that's poured into the water is probably some sort of perfumed oil or something. As to the things being tapped on her feet, they're some kind of massager, it would seem. The sound they make is probably supposed to be soothing, too.

They pour in way too much for it to be perfumed oil. It is more likely a decoction of wine and herbs to soften and soothe the feet.
