Another vote for a DVD release!
I love this movie. It did not change my world because it is representative of my world and that is why I love it.
I show it to everyone that comes to my home and its meaning and significance are discussed during and after the movie. It is well worth preserving in our society and should be transferred to new viewing formats as they become available. Right now that means DVD.
Of course, like Bud Rickets, your concern is with monetary return. I can't imagine that you would lose money for your effort.
I periodically return to amazon looking for this movie on DVD and I am sure I'm not alone. Do it quick before Arthur comes looking for you (he can, you know).
