Why did they dub the boy

I wonder for what reason they dubbed the boy in this. I actually found that by far the most distracting aspect to the production rather than the 20 year old prosthetic work that I would imagine some people would scoff at.

Sounds like he was dubbed by some random non actress trying to do a Yorkshire accent. Surely the original audio couldn't have been worse?!

Oh thank GOD it was dubbed! I was doing something else while I was watching and I thought there was something severely wrong with that little boy! The dubbing job is awful. That was by far the most disturbing scene, counting the bloodbath at the clinic.
