Max Cady was a very snazzy dresser

I have to say, his attire was really quite something. From the tourist button-down shirts to his white Miami Vice pants and cool guy hat, he was a real mover and a shaker. The shoes were a definite plus!

The icing on the cake was when he is being stripped searched and we see him pull down his trousers to reveal a slinky, firecracker red speedo. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Just wow. What a fashion plate.



Honestly, was this movie supposed to be campy? Some of the scenes were slapstick, like when Sam slips in the blood and keeps falling or when Danny throws lighter fluid on Max and his face is on fire. Then there is the scene where Danny tells Max her dad has a gun to which Max replies, “You mean like this one?” and they zoom in to the gun in his waistband. It’s like something you’d see in a corny 70s movie. They also used a “whip” sound effect when Max would turn his head around when they were in the boat. I was surprised this was a Scorsese film.
