Why are East Coasters so angry?

I'm talking the cop scene this movie. If this had happened in New York or in Philly or in Detroit, then it would not have been Ricky and Tre. It would have been more like something out of the Crown Heights Riots. Tre had dignity. He took that abuse and didn't let it bother him.

This would have been the Northeast, that cop would have been chopped up or beaten.
This movie is a refresher from movies like "Harlem Nights" or "Fresh."

Not really sure what you mean, there's been riots and worse over police brutality in numerous cities in America over the last few decades in the East, Midwest, West, South, etc...LA Riots of 92, Watts Riots of 65', Hunters Point riots in San Francisco in 1966, Oakland has had several riots over police brutality, in the South there was that guy in Dallas who killed several cops a couple months ago...there's been numerous in the Midwest

It's not limited to any particular region, or limited to the US. It's all over.
