Was really over acted by some of the people in the movie.

I agree. I liked the movie, but it certainly isn't the masterpiece that people make it out to be.

pretty average movie, don't see what the fuss is about, maybe in 1991 it was something new but today it feels dated, i don't know if it's still like that in the hoods, but that's how i feel

so many movies, so little time

Over acted, or.... realistically acted? Regardless, I think it's an effective movie even today.
