Elizabeth is only meant to be 21 (+500 years)?

She looks about 35. Maybe it's the makeup, but really? 21?

I know, and that would make her 16 in the first film. And there is no way she was 16 in the first film!

Actually I just realized they were played by different actresses in the two films.

Yes, you're right, there are two actresses - neither of whom look particularly young!

I know this post is from 3 years ago, but I guess you could say the harder lives people had in the old old days aged people. I'm sure alot of 16 year olds of 1500 look like modern day 30 year olds, even older maybe. Shoot, that was like middle aged in those days probably, and 23+ was probably like senior citizen age!

Although you'd think living in the "present" in San Dimas for 2 years would've helped them adapt a bit. The 521st birthday thing was just meant as a joke though, lol.
