Curiosity about the headlines at the end of the movie

2691 is the year Rufus and De Nomolos come from in this movie. Not all the newspapers say that, at least one says 1993. I guess they might be historical reprints or something.

De Nomolos was the Sit Up Champion of the 27th century, but he came from near the end of that century so it'd make sense that he was a really fit record-setting gym teacher earlier on in his life, before becoming a megalo-maniacal Bill & Ted hater. I like the joke that at the beginning of the film we're introduced to De Nomolos, Rufus' old teacher, only to find out that he was only the gym teacher not some sort of fallen master & apprentice role.

Because Death is a dimensionless and timeless being, who can manifest and be in multiple places at any time. This one manifestation has chosen to tag along with Bill and Ted to live like a human, and be famous. Though, that said, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
