I have seen thousands of movies but this is the worst movie I have ever

seen. It is terrible. I hated every minute of it. It was stupid and just horrible. I have literally seen about 2500 movies and this takes the cake

You didn't like the game of Twister vs. Death? I didn't think that was stupid - it was a witty appropriation of one of the most iconic scenes in cinema filtered back through the presumed vapidity of late-20th Century lifestyles to create a tongue in cheek answer to existential angst, wherein the pain of existence is neutralised by the message of universal love. The fear of death is literally defeated in the tiny, disposable moments of fun that continually enrapture Bill and Ted, and it's their innocent appreciation for life's small pleasures that gives them their power. So it's not "stupid" exactly, so much as it celebrates this child-like state of grace, and I think that's what makes it charming. In the first film Bill and Ted meet Socrates and respond to his pronouncement that "the truly wise are those who know they know nothing" with a cheery "Hey! That's us dude!" and this film seems to fully explore that notion.

Their best defence against a chaotic, unknowable universe is the open-mindedness that comes with the acknowledgement of their 'stupidity'. Does that make the film itself stupid? no obviously not is the answer to that, unless you want to argue that Socrates himself is stupid. So the heroes are naive, but this allows them to approach the world without assumptions, and in doing so they readily accept the nature of their destiny.

So it's not "stupid" as you claim, it is good.

hahaha WOW

you just rocked my socks, everlone_2000

AND I completely agree with you!

Yep. One of the true great sequels. Surpasses the original in almost every way.

I am not locked in here with you. YOU ARE LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME!!!!

To be honest, I think the only good thing about the movie is the games between Bill, Ted and Death.

Hey Ugly Bugly! Did Adolf Zitler launch a Zitskrieg across your face?

Then you have incredibly poor taste in movies.

Yeah, the first one was great, but this is just garbage. Starts out bad and goes south from there.

reply

It was bad but the worst movie I have ever seen was Legion. Pure garbage.

Having only seen literally about 2499 movies I guess I have no say. Teach me thy ways, O enlightened one.

Sad story. You got a smoke?

If you've seen 2500 movies and this was the worst one you've seen you're either trolling or just trying to get some attention. In a world that has given us Baby Geniuses, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet The Spartans, The Last Airbender, Skyline, etc. you say this is the worst? I think you should probably seek some help and I'm not trying to be funny or anything...

I've got an ignore list longer than a Chinese phone book.

I agree that this is one of the best sequels ever made (i also believe
it is superior to the original, though it is definitely DIFFERENT, and so
i can understand why a lot of people who thought they were getting
Bill and Ted traveling through time PT II were taken aback.)

But i have to stick up for "SKYLINE". I went in expecting that one to be
awful, but actually it is a pretty underrated B-movie flick.

One of the few alien invasion movies that really show us how screwed we
would be if aliens invaded.
