Sorry, as much as I'd like to see it happen, this show will never be released on DVD. It just wasn't popular enough.

reply

I don't care how popular the show was! I just found out about it. Sarah Michelle Gellar and youm don't think this will sell? And Mia Sorvino? Of course it will! The only reason I discovered it was because I was trying to find out more about Stacy Moseley. If it came out on dvd, would I buy? Hell, yes! Where are all the Buffy fans?

reply

Wouldn't they have to reach some kind of agreement with these actresses for them to consent to releasing a DVD? I would think they'd have too difficult time agreeing on a percentage of the profits, etc.

reply

Not necessarily. Chances are the actresses didn't have any ownership rights in their contracts when they actually shot the show since they were all so young. It would be up the production company or the network whoever ended with ownership rights to release it, but I agree that the show wasn't nearly popular enough for them to do so. They may sell like 200 copies, maybe. Most Buffy fans are not pre-teen adolescents anymore. =)

reply

lol What exactly are they doing these days? Don't you think that at this point it'd be free money for them?

reply

Well if you can convince Heliosphere you're going to buy 50,000 copies maybe they'll do it. See, that's the way businesses work, they do things that make them a profit, not because some 12 year old kid asks them to. Yes, I know I'm replying to you a year later, but you replied to me a year late so that makes us even.

reply

No, it won't. Just because Sarah Michelle Gellar was on it, and Mira Sorvino was in maybe 4 episodes for a total of about 2 minutes, doesn't mean it will sell. Shows on DVD are bought by people who enjoyed the show, not by people who think a show may be interesting and decide to buy the whole series on DVD. Especially not one that's 15 years old.

us buffy fans are here hehe

Dude I would so buy it. Great casting plus eventhough I was pretty freakin young at the time I remember watching this show. I was mad that I didn't get to see all the eposisodes, because near the end they kept switching the time on me. I recorded it, but it wasn't on the tape when I actually did. Then one day my mom told me it had been cancelled and I was pissed. Though I would be semi embarassed to purchase this show I deffinetly would. I never even saw the ending I just hope it wasn't as *beep* up as the ending of the series Popular.

Which studio, Kauffman Astoria or Heliosphere? Where did you get an address for them? No way in hell it would ever be re-broadcast. Show is way too dated now.
