In Houston, Texas, I remember it came on at 6:30 in the morning. Give or take 30 minutes. Before that, it came on in the afternoon, probably about 4:30.
I guess before totally putting it down for the count they tried it at that ridiculously early time of the morning.
Did they ever show re-runs of this show or was it only ever first run and that's it??
Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father...prepare to die!
I'm from new zealand, and here it was an afternoon show waaaay back. me and my next door neighbour used to watch it in the afternoons at about 3.30, we were OBSESSED with it... for about 5 minutes (We were about 10 at the time, you know how these things are). I didn't realise untill right now that sarah michelle gellar was in this show... which is creepy coz im a Buffy fan also.
I LOVED this show so much. I am from NYC area so it was first on in the afternoons the summer of 1992 I believe. Then they re-ran the season that fall at the ungodly hour (at least to me who was 12 at the time) of 6am to try to get more people interested in the show, which obviously didn't work.
I used to watch SC when it was on at 5pm. Then they moved it to 6AM and I used to set my alarm to watch it before school. I was obsessed. Of course I was 11. Then they put reruns on for a while at 6:30am. I even made a website about it years ago. It was a fun show.
I think it was on at like 2:30 in the afternoon. Then I remember I went to visit my grandparents in a town about 3 hours or so from where I was living at the time and it was said to come on at 5:30 am so I set the vcr to record it. When I went to watch the tape guess what was not on the tape.
where were you, eminem? i was in virginia and it started out at 2:30 in the afternoon, then moved to 6 or 6:30 in the morning. i remember mornings scrambling to set the vcr because i'd forgotten to the night before... *lol*
Well I remember it was late spring early Summer that this show came on on UPN9. And from the early promos I became hooked. The fun that at the end of certain episodes they would give you information on where you could meet in person. Like Planet Hollywood or Kaybee Toystore in Union Sqaure.
I live in Scotland and we used to get SC (I think it was re-runs 'cos Sweet Valley High was on as well) on a Sky Channel called Trouble. It was on at either 6 or 6:30am with Hollyoaks and Sweet Valley High was on a bit later.
I don't really remember much about SC 'cos I was about 11, but I thought it was pretty cool and I liked the theme song!!!
They ust to show Sweet Valley and breaker high together, but no Swan's Crossing. I think I would rather have watched Swan's Crossing then Breaker High. All I have of Swan's Crossing is one episode that I watch sometimes, but hardly ever, because it is a very old tape and I dont want that *beep* up my vcr. I mean this tape is so old it had Swan's Crossing,a episode of 90210 from the first season, and Drexell's class if anyone remembers that show.
I remember watching Swans Crossing when I was 6 or 7 in New York City. I forgot all about it, but when I visited Arazona, I saw someone at the airport this past October with a Swans Crossing trapper keeper. I went up to him and said, "You gotta grow up sometime?" and he started laughing saying, "No one knows of this." Just a little funny story.
I live in London, remember seeing it really early in the morning as well about 6:30am on Trouble. It had re runs for a while actually because I remember Sweet Valley High and a few other shows would come on after it
In the Southeast US it came on at 2:30, 12:30, and 3:00. After the intial 65 episodes it repeated before being canceled. After that it was picked up by the USA Network and ran on Sunday mornings at 5:30 AM (before Cartoon Express).
I was living in San Francisco, California, attending middle school. I would rush home from school to watch it. I absolutely loved it, but I can't really remember why. Do y'all remember the dance scenes?
